What’s going on with Tom

Agency life is tough, lot’s of leads come in but the majority don’t work out.

For every 10 leads that come in 1 works out.

This is the breakdown based on 2 months of purely inbound leads.

3 disappear into thin air. 2 are Indian agencies trying to find your pricing. 2 are leads that have no budget and want you to do it on the cheap. 2 are 50-50’s. 1 is a genuinely good lead.

It’s tough out there! It's okay though, sales is a numbers game and I've not sorted out my qualification yet. That 1 lead is sweet though

How to become a top 1% no-coder in 2023.

You need to be able to do 3 things.

Design, build workflows and be able to design and structure a database.

Once you can do all of these you will be proficient enough to build your own projects or start working as a no-code developer. You don’t need to be a pro in all of them, but you need to undertsand and put them into practice.

Design - Design is key in no-code, this is the act of putting it all together. The platforms use visual coding instead of hard code (this is a nice way of saying drag and drop) which means that design is pushed to the front. These tools typically allow users to add various UI elements such as buttons, input fields, and images to their app pages and customize their appearance, position, and behavior. Being a decent designer is important so that you can make something coherent.

Workflows - Workflows are the behind the scenes steps that will be executed once something been actioned. These can be simple as a button to upload an image or sign in, and can be as complex as an action to send out data to an api, return the data, manipulate it and then display it. Think of them like the London underground transporting data all around the place.

Database design - Database design is the most important part. The whole platform depends on it. A database stores all of the information that is input into the app, storing it and showing it back to users at certain points. No-coders need to understand how to create and structure data and organise it properly so that the workflows can create actions to interact with it. For example when a sign up button is clicked, the username, email and password are saved in the database.

Chatgpt Turbo 3.5

The newer model of chatgpt is no available. ChatGPT3.5 turbo. It's 10x cheaper and in my opinion it's so much better than the existing davincii003. The tool has been available in the raw chat format but it's very recently been released as as the API.
